A Package Of Warmth

The socks and the sweater will travel to Warm Woolies today. The socks are knitted in a worsted and aran weight yarn. Some of it I hand dyed with Kool-Aid. 

For the sweater Ellyn Cooper from Ellyn Cooper's Yarn Sonnets donated  one of her gorgeous hand dyes.

Thank you Ellyn! I love her colors. The picture doesn't do any justice. She is an artist. it's very rewarding to know that these garments (including the Mystery Sweater) will keep some children in orphanages in rough cold climates warm.
