Easy knits....


One of my favorite classic knits is Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise Jacket. It's knitted in one piece and I'm always amazed how it folds into a cute little baby cardigan. This time I tried a self striping yarn from Schoeller & Stahl, Limbo Color.

Mitered squares are a fun way to use up scraps. Hopefully this will turn into a baby blanket at some point.

so cute! i love the mitered squares project...however, your influence over my large projects has gotten a bit out of hand...I need to finish something before moving on....

I really need to get that pattern. I always love the way they turn out, and it looks great in self striping yarn!
