Ravelympics

During the time period of the Winter Olympics 2010 the knitting community ravelry is hosting ravelympics. During this time knitters/crocheters are able to join teams and work on different  projects for different events.
This vest is part of the Event Charity since it will go to Wool-Aid. I'm part of the ravelympics Wool-Aid Team.

I used the yarn I recently dyed with Kool-Aid in the color way Marine Splash. The texture of moss stitch helps to make the color of hand dyes pop out more. Neck and arm opening are worked with a rolled edge and shoulders are shaped with short rows.

PS: I'm so thrilled about Simon Amann's gold metal!!!!

Lismi,

Thanks so much for all the cheer-leading you've done for the Warm Hands Network Wool-Aid drive. This is the first time I've been able to look at your blog and I LOVE your stuff!

What a great vest! I love the colors and the style. The rolled edges are especially cute; a very nice touch :)
