Today is the day.......

......the drawing for the Barn Raising Quilt, we did through my local yarn shop, will be held!
All the proceeds will go to the local women's shelter for domestic violence.
I'm totally excited who will get this beautiful piece of art and find how much money we are able to donate. My kids liked the whole idea so much that they bought tickets from their allowance money.
Thanks to all the wonderful knitters, who helped to make this project a success. Special thanks go to my friend Linda who initiated this and put a lot of time and energy in, even though she was sick!
I can't wait to see what's going to happen tonight at the raffle......
