Super Easy Ammediesle

Since leftovers tend to pile up in my stash I decided to
make some wrist warmers for a lovely pre teen who does not like to wear mittens. She loves them. It's a fast and super- easy knit.
The pattern stitch adds some stretch to them.

Material: Patons Kroy Socks (Stripes) 1 ½ skein

Lion Brands fun fur ¼ skein

Dpn, set of four, size US 2 / 2.75 mm

Size: to fit medium – large child or small woman
Gauge: 9 sts = 1” in pattern stitch
Pattern stitch: K 5, P 2

With Patons cast on 42 sts, distribute evenly on 3 (or 4) dpn and join carefully not to twist.

Knit in pattern stitch until piece measures 5”

Thumb opening:

At beginning of next round bind of 5 sts (loosely) P 2 and continue in pattern st
to the end of the round.
At beginning of next round cast on 5 sts, P 2 and continue in pattern st to the end of the round.

Knit 14 rounds in pattern st.

Change to fun fur and knit 4 rounds in St st.

Bind off.

To make a bigger size add 1 (2) pattern repeats and bind off / cast on 7 (9) sts for thump opening
or use a heavier weight yarn.
